The possibility to restore a single implant in a chairside workflow is a major advantage of CEREC system. Despite the advantages of the one visit treatment, many questions still exist regarding 

the scanning technique, blocks selection, design of the emergence profile and when to chose between the screw retained crown or the abutment and crown to restore the single implant. 

This lecture will discuss the main aspects of chairside implant restorations, with emphasis on the management of the soft tissue, aiming the long-term preservation of periimplant mucosal level .
