As cliche as it may seem, digital technology has indeed broadened our abilities as dentists to harness new levels of precision and efficiency that weren't possible before. A decade ago in prosthodontics, this meant that restorations could be delivered very quickly, often within a single visit to the clinic. While this one-visit digital workflow for posterior restoration has matured over the years, aesthetic anterior restoration has remained elusive to most dental clinicians. Under the constraints of time, many of the conventional techniques mastered by the lab technicians, such as cut-back and layering, become impractical for multi-unit restorations and full-mouth reconstruction. In this webinar, I will talk about how we are able to achieve the desired aesthetics (the Good), how we can learn from failures (the Bad), and the most common mistakes we see other dentists making (the Ugly).
